The Refinishing process

  We take the time necessary to discuss with you all the aspects of the project. We inspect each item and give you a written proposal detailing all repairs to be performed and other details of the process. We are at your service to help you make the right color choice for your item considering the wood type, and what your preference is.

All Hardware, glass, and mirrors are removed first, and filed away safely.

Repairs are performed by a woodworking specialist, as ordered.

The furniture is stripped with a safe chemical solution, and rinsed clean.

Next , the item is thoroughly sanded. Defects are filled when appropriate

After preparation, the item is stained as ordered. Then 4 to 6 coats of a durable clear finish are spray applied. The finish is carefully sanded between coats to achieve a smooth professional satin sheen

After finishing, the hardware is polished and reinstalled
